LOS ANGELES, CA- Presented by LA UP Gallery, SEXPOSED is a community-focused art exhibition, featuring queer and LGBT+ artists. The presented works are focused on sex and sexuality, body-positivity, and the disruption of harmful societal dispositions surrounding abuse, harassment, and inequality.

LA UP Gallery is committed to invigorating a fresh take on exhibiting by offering a communicative platform of solidarity through the intersectionality of art and activism. SEXPOSED aims to stimulate guests by catalyzing provocative conversation, and challenging biased ideas of sexuality through the queer-experience.

SEXPOSED is curated by Exhibition Director, Colette von, who has a long history of activism through her presentations and gallery work. SEXPOSED supports the local community, and is donating proceeds to the LA LGBT YOUTH CENTER. Admission to the show is free, but donations to the nonprofit are strongly encouraged.

In addition to the curated selection of art, SEXPOSED will include exquisite, hand-picked performances (Friday- Boy Untitled; Saturday- Mystery Guest!); a boiler-room peep show; artisanal, local vendors; and intimate experiences. Launched in fall 2010, pskaufman... is the first eponymous shoe brand from Paul Kaufman. Long known for his design work with numerous  brands, Paul decided it was time to put his name to a brand that would completely reflect his passion for shoemaking and his values.  Throughout a long career designing shoes, Paul has always sought to create authentic products, expressing the heritage of shoemaking and a genuine appreciation of the artisans who make the shoes. Finding strength in industrial-inspired classics, pskaufman... reflects this inspiration, with a well-considered collection of shoes and accessories full of unique details and industrial functionality, but also modern twists reflecting the collaboration between designer and artisan.

With a firm belief in the value of making footwear that can be worn for decades, rather than months, pskaufman... features goodyear-welted shoes and boots, made as they have been for over 100 years. constructed by hand, as well as on ancient machinery, pskaufman... footwear has traveled back in time to help the wearer walk stylishly into the future. Modern comfort features, high quality, full-grain leather uppers and full-grain stretch leather linings form shoes built to last and last comfortably!

Lighttreadtm re-purposed tire outsoles, diverted from landfills and incinerators, are added to pskaufman... shoes and accessories, creating unique, lightweight, flexible and durable products, which helps the environment, while maintaining an equally important exceptional style quotient (esq).

In a time when fashion seems to devolve ever more quickly into spirals of meaningless consumption, pskaufman... humbly strives to offer long-term alternatives to built-in obsolescence by offering quality products, the greenest option when it comes to footwear and accessories. Which is better for the environment- having to replace inferior products once a year (or more), or having products that last for decades? in a word, they’re cool, but classic enough and tough enough to wear for the next twenty years.

Retailing between $50 and $400, pskaufman... footwear and accessories are found at the best merchants in the country and on the coolest feet around the world.

Rob Woodcox is a fine art and fashion photographer currently living between Mexico and the US. As he creates each artwork, Rob strives to capture fragments of a vivid life sewn by the threads of reality, memory and dream.  Each concept is a declaration of his experience and seeks to tell a meaningful story to each individual that views it.

Rob's passion for photography has developed into a dedication to advocacy; he has produced projects raising consciousness and conversation around the US foster system and adoption, queer identity, body neutrality, racial equality and environmental justice.  Having been adopted as a child and interacting often with the foster care system, Rob creates from a unique perspective, finding hope in human connection and the will to overcome negative constructs within our complex societies.

In 2013, Rob went through his own "coming out" experience, a societal passage only necessary from the lack of education and acceptance within the greater population. Though a challenging and demanding experience, Rob used this energy to pursue his photographic goals full-time and began touring the world, teaching workshops and creating sponsored content. Rob has taught thousands of students in 6 continents, 15 countries and 34 cities worldwide. He has been featured in various major publications, gallery exhibits and has produced commercial work for clients like Universal Pictures and Capitol Records. In 2020, Rob released his first photographic art book “Bodies Of Light”. He continues to embark upon new personal and client creative endeavors.

Rob is available internationally for select projects and campaign productions and sells prints of his work in his online shop.
