CIRCULAR WORLDS

The CIRCULAR WORLDS series is an ongoing exploration of discoid shapes and their relationships to space, one another, and to the artist. Having noticed these shapes kept making their way into the artist's work, with a more intentioned focus on their purpose, Kyle Hollingsworth has shifted to a play-like practice over the last five years. And while she finds harmony, energy, and completion in the experience of paint and mixed-media, the occasional unresolved piece emerges, as is our human experience, and can lead to some works being 'in process' for a number of years.

As the viewer, there are many takeaways from the work- passion, joy, turmoil, consonance. We look into our own evolutions as we peer into the circular movements in Kyle's pieces, and are brought to our memories, thoughts, our own existence in the spaces we occupy. We are challenged to find meaning, and to make sense of ourselves, and are lead down paths of resolution in CIRCULAR WORLDS.

Monopole Wine is Pasadena's premiere wine store and tasting bar inviting both the connoisseur and wine-curious to explore, taste and learn about wine. Monopole affords a thoughtful selection of hand-selected, rare and premium wines from around the world, available for purchase in the store as well as online via their website wine portal. The owners and staff are passionate wine experts who are committed to sharing their knowledge and engender an appreciation for different tastes, cultures and foods.

Monopole Wine's retail store remains open during the pandemic from 2 to 7P Tue-Sat and 2-6P on Sunday. Monopole currently offers a 10% case discount (mix & match), and local delivery. Additionally, Monopole is hosting Virtual Wine Tastings, with class supplies available for pickup prior to the class.
